Jamie Arpin-Ricci (who I recently quoted about St. Francis) recently posted a great parable called “Why We Love.” If you are into the format of parables, I would highly recommend checking out his post.
Also, if the modern parable is intriguing to you, Peter Rollins has a fairly new book out called The Orthodox Heretic, which has a collection of parables. It is a great set of thought provoking parables and well worth buying, in my opinion. I’ve previously posted a recording of one of his parables (check that out here)
